Dry Fruit and Nut Rolls

With the ongoing monsoon and the festive season just around the corner, what better way to enjoy than with a plateful of delicious yet healthy and nutritious Dry Fruit and Nut Rolls. Savor these tiny and yummy rolls and satisfy your sweet-tooth cravings without that extra ounce of guilt.


SERVES: 4 – 6 people 


  •   1 cup Happilo Omani Dates 
  •   Handful of Happilo California Pistachios 
  •   Handful of Happilo Californian Almonds 
  •   A few Happilo Raisins
  •   A few Happilo Cashews nuts 
  •   1 Cup Coconut Powder 
  •   1 tbsp Ghee 
  •   1 cup Milk 
  •   Half cup Sugar 
  •   Figs (if preferred) 


  •  Finely chop the Almonds and Cashew nuts and roast them in a frying pan by pouring in some ghee.  
  •  Pour the milk in a pan and add the sugar. Slowly stir both the ingredients on a low flame. 
  •  After the milk has boiled a little, add in the Dates, Raisins, Almonds, Pistachios and Cashew nuts. Stir the mixture. 
  •  Continue to cook on a low flame until the mixture begins to thicken and becomes a little dense. 
  •  Then, add the coconut powder into this mixture and continue cooking until the mixture becomes comparatively dense. 
  •  Add some ghee to give it a nice flavour and texture. 
  •  Once the mixture has cooled down take smaller portions and shape them into rolls.
  •  Place on a plate and serve.
