Our Story

In 2017, Happilo marked a significant milestone by listing its products on Amazon, enhancing its visibility in the e-commerce space. This was soon followed by a listing at Hypercity, Malad, which provided the brand with crucial exposure in modern retail environments. This early expansion into both online and offline retail channels set the stage for Happilo’s growth.

In 2021, Happilo successfully raised Series A funding of $12 million from A91 Partners. This capital infusion was pivotal in scaling the company’s operations, expanding its product range, and enhancing its market presence. The investment underscored the confidence investors had in Happilo’s business model and growth potential.

Later in 2022, Happilo raised an additional $25 million in a Series B funding round led by Motilal Oswal Private Equity. This funding supported the company’s aggressive expansion plans, including increasing its processing and warehousing capacities and further strengthening its market position.

In 2023, Vikas D Nahar made headlines by joining the cast of Shark Tank India as a judge. His appearance on the popular business reality show showcased his entrepreneurial acumen and provided further exposure for Happilo, aligning with the brand’s image of innovation and leadership in the healthy snacking sector.
